Augustine Apartments – Self Catering Apartments in Dublin

Here is a list of answers to the most common questions we receive regarding the Augustine Apartments and its services. If you do not find the answer you are looking for in this section please feel free to contact us with your question and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Until what time is reception open?

Our reception is open 24 Hours a day. Seven days a week.

Do you have secure Car Parking?

Yes, we offer secure on-site Car Parking. We have 100 spaces available at €14 per day. Please reserve your space at the time of booking (subject to availability).

What is the Prepay & Save rate?

This is a discounted rate only available when you book 30 days or more in advance and prepay in full. No amendments or refunds can be processed if the reservation is subsequently cancelled.

Is a security deposit required?

A Security Deposit will be required upon check-in. A charge of €50 per person is applicable to Adults and children of 16 years and above (children of 15 years and under are exempt). Please be advised that only ONE cash or credit/debit card payment can be made in respect of the apartment security deposit, which will be the responsibility of the lead guest. Individual per person payments are not permitted and the lead guest will be responsible for the conduct of the occupants.

The payment will be used to cover incidental items including, but not limited to, breakages, damage to property, additional cleaning costs due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state, excessive electricity usage, and breaches to regulations such as smoking in the rooms or causing disturbance of other guests enjoyment of the property. Security Deposits may also be used by Management in the event of unauthorised extra guests using the room and facilities.

If the Security Deposit is paid in cash, it will be refunded upon departure, after a representative of Augustine Apartments has checked the condition of the apartment. Security Deposits held on a credit card (via a pre-authorisation) or charged to a debit card will be refunded as per the issuing bank's policy. Typically this may take between 3-10 working days, however some banks do take longer.

Customers should note that with pre-authorisation no money is transferred at the time, but it will affect your available funds balance and spending limits on the card while the pre-authorisation exists. The Operator is not liable for any delays in refunding pre-authorisations by credit card companies.

Do you have Internet access?

Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi access to all our guests throughout the Augustine Apartments.

Do you provide bed linen and towels?

Yes, all bed linen and towels are provided.

What appliances are provided in the apartments?

Cooker/hob, washer/dryer, electric kettle, toaster, hairdryer, iron/ironing board and LCD TV.

Do you accept pets?

No, sorry we do not allow pets in any of our apartments.

Do you provide a cleaning service for the apartments?

Yes, a cleaning service is provided free of charge for guests staying longer than seven days.

What is the maximum number of occupants allowed in each apartment?

1 Bedroom Apartment - 3 people
2 Bedroom Apartment - 5 people
3 Bedroom Apartment - 7 people

What is your cancellation policy?

Deposits paid are always non-refundable.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@augustineapartments.com. Confirmation of cancellation will be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. Client and Booking Agent does not guarantee that emails sent to it are received. It is Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation. Cancellations may be liable to the charges outlined below. Depending on the reasons for your cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges from your insurance company, if you have taken out travel insurance. We strongly recommend that all clients obtain appropriate travel and personal insurance cover.

  • Cancellation of a reservation will be effective only from the date of receipt.
  • Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to midday (Irish time) on the day of arrival, and received by email to info@augustineapartments.com. No further charges will be made for cancellations received prior to this deadline.
  • If Client notifies of cancellation within 48 hours, or fails to arrive, the first night's accommodation cost will be charged, in addition to retention of the booking deposit.
  • Cancellations are not permitted on Advance Purchase rates.

Can we request an early check-in or late check-out?

Depending on the availability of the apartment you may be able to check-in to your apartment earlier than 3:00 pm, though this cannot be guaranteed. The cost for this is €10.

Subject to availability, an afternoon/evening check-out may be arranged at €10 per hour up to 3:00 pm.

I have a late flight, would I be able to leave my luggage somewhere?

Yes, you can leave your luggage in our secure lockers for €2 or €3 per locker.
